The St. Louis School is an international school, catering for up to
600 students. It is a
member of ECIS, the European Council of International Schools and has been granted the official status of Scuola Primaria Paritaria by the Italian Authorities.
The St. Louis School aims to:
- provide a high standard of education through an appropriately structured curriculum which aims to meet the needs of each individual child
- develop students' natural curiosity and maintain their love of learning and enjoying all subjects including music and sports
- help students to develop a code of values and principles which will enable them to become responsible adults later in life
- teach students to show respect for others and for the environment
- create a stimulating, caring and safe environment for the children at school
Our teaching approach is based on the principles behind modern British education:
- schools should help students to learn and develop a child's natural abilities
- children learn by experience and not by being lectured at
- each child has his or her own personal learning pace and relevant needs and should consequently be encouraged to produce his or her best.
The school is set in a modern building southeast of Milan and has a large outdoor play and sports area. It has its own bus service and is close to public transport.
