In the Cambridge IGCSE programme, your child's study includes theory, some investigation and elements of practical work in certain areas. To attain high grades, students must demonstrate competence in reading and writing. Students normally take nine IGCSE courses..At the end of a two year period, your child will be assessed through standardised exams, marked by examining boards based in England. He or she will then be externally awarded an individual subject IGCSE certificate, which gives a useful benchmark of performance at age 16. Our academic programme takes place between the hours of 8 a.m. and 1.50 p.m. the students are required to follow an extra curricular programme which will involve 75 hours of activities over the two year period. This time is divided into Creative , Action and Service. The students may carry out these activities in the afternoons at school (2.30 to 5 p.m.), outside school, or even during the holidays. For each activity the students are required to record their experiences, seek a supervisor and reflect upon what they have learnt. A wide range of IGCSE subjects are available and these are grouped in curriculum areas
