Our Infant School offers a happy and stimulating environment in which children learn to be away from home, to work independently, as well as in groups, and to understand the importance of routines and rules.
The academic programme is based on the Early Years Foundation Stage of the British National Curriculum and it is structured around the following areas of learning:

  • Personal, social and emotional development
  • Creative development
  • Communication and language
  • Literacy
  • Problem solving, reasoning and numeracy
  • Knowledge and understanding of the world
  • Physical development

The school also provides music and physical education specialist teachers, swimming lessons, visits to museums/theatres, excursions and extra curricular activities. The children can arrive at school between 8.45 and 9.30 a.m. and go home between 3.45 and 4 p.m. In the afternoon the teachers put the younger children to bed. They have their nap time from 1 to 2.30 p.m.
